Under the label “Project Engineering”, we offer a diverse spectrum of project services. These services can be mixed and matched as desired, and are individually customized to suit the needs of each project.

For more than 90 years, Consult Infrastructure has been HOCHTIEF’s central technical unit for civil and structural engineering. Given this background, we often assist our construction colleagues, jointly undertaking demanding infrastructure projects with them both in Germany and abroad. On-site implementation gives us the opportunity to repeatedly validate our design solutions and to enhance them with practical innovations. Within our areas of expertise, we provide engineering services for all phases of a project.

We provide our clients with expert design and consulting services in the areas of industrial construction, power plant technology, special non-standard buildings and structures. As a general planner we are capable of handling all of the design packages, supported by special competencies such as dynamics and earthquake engineering. A number of special components for fire protection, building physics, facade or green building, or authorization to present planning documents round out our portfolio.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is our daily business. HOCHTIEF recognized the potential of BIM at a very early stage and already initiated “Virtual Construction” as an innovation focus in 2003. With the foundation of a company specifically for virtual construction—HOCHTIEF ViCon GmbH—HOCHTIEF is considered to be a pioneer in this area. Today, HOCHTIEF ViCon is the Group’s BIM competence center and practices the future of digital construction worldwide.

We understand Project Management Services as construction process management and project steering. As a service provider, we support our clients in all project phases—from concept through to operation. Thanks to the hands-on, integrated approach we take to projects, we are able to devise economical and sustainable solutions and always focus on the needs of our clients. Customized, made-to-measure realization concepts and solutions allow us to take the pressure off project management and the project team. In this way, we secure our clients’ project success in building and industrial construction as well as in infrastructure construction and civil engineering.
